Massage Therapy
Patients in Milton, Ontario and the surrounding area have relied on True Health Chiropractic for registered massage therapy since 2000.
The practice of massage therapy is the assessment of soft tissue and joints of the body, and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or augment physical function, or to relieve pain (Massage Therapy Act, 1991).
Massage therapy involves an integral healing relationship in which our registered massage therapist assists the client in restoring, maintaining and enhancing their well-being. Massage therapy is most often used in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, such as low back pain, neck pain, whiplash and headaches. In conjunction with chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy can provide patients with relief of symptoms associated with these conditions and recover more quickly.
Massage therapy is also frequently used for palliative care, maternal and infant health, and to reduce common symptoms associated with stress including sleep disorders, anxiety and depression.
